Self care weekend

Does this sound like your Saturday morning?

Tell me if this feels a little too close to home...

08:00 AM — The Exit

The alarm goes off. He’s up, energised, packing his kit bag. He kisses you goodbye - distracted, already mentally on the pitch - and walks out the door.

The Long Wait

He won’t be back until sunset (or later if they win... hello post-match pints 🙃). And you? You’re left with a full day, a silent house, and that familiar, sinking feeling in your tummy.

The Realisation

You're independent. Capable. Busy. But independence doesn't cancel out missing someone. And that's the part no one really talks about. How you can love cricket, be proud of him, cheer from the sidelines - and still feel a little alone in the spaces in between.

"You tell yourself you're being dramatic. You tell yourself 'it's just a game.' But deep down? You feel deprioritised. Unchosen."

Finally, a place where it's okay to say it out loud.

The Truth: You Are Not 'Needy', 'Crazy', or 'Selfish'

If you’ve ever tried to explain this to a friend who doesn't date a cricketer, you’ve probably heard the standard advice: 'At least he’s not at the pub!' or 'Why don’t you just get a hobby?'

They don't get it.

Cricket isn't a hobby; it’s a third person in your relationship. It dictates holidays, cancels dinner plans, and consumes emotional energy for months at a time.

"The quiet build-up that happens when plans always come second to the fixture list can be harder than we expect. Trying to be “low-maintenance” doesn’t make it disappear, it just means you carry it alone"

"I’ve just stumbled on your page and I love it!"

"Good morning, I’ve just stumbled on your page and I love it! Some of it is so funny but I love the detail in your captions and it’s nice to read that it’s not just me that feels that way. So Thankyou! 👏💗"

The Community

Introducing: The Cricket Widow Club

Guys, it is time to stop navigating this alone.

Validate Your Feelings

Meet hundreds of women who just get it. Whether you're spending yet another weekend on the sidelines or eating dinner alone because cricket ran over (again), you'll find your people here - women who live the exact same life and make it so much better.

Laughter is the Best (and Cheapest) Therapy

We are NOT a pity party! This community is your permission slip to find the joy in it all. From hilarious weekly group calls, to a feed that'll genuinely make you LOL, this is the most fun you'll have while your other half fields another over. Good vibes only - and there are a lot of them.

Socials, Softball & Sanity Savers

Because you deserve a calendar that excites YOU too! 🗓️ From big social get-togethers to our famous softball matches, we're moving the community offline and into the real world. Whether you want to play, cheer, or just enjoy the post-match drinks (essential!!), these events are about putting your fun back at the centre of the weekend.

Master Your Mindset (Or Just Master The Rules)

Level up your knowledge on and off the pitch. Members get exclusive discounts on our growing library of digital courses covering hockey, softball, cricket, and even relationship and lifestyle support. If you want to learn a sport yourself (or have that hard conversation you've been bottling up for months), we'll teach you how!

For The Sporty Girls (Yes, We Exist!)

Who says he gets to have all the athletic glory?! If you're itching to get moving, join our professional live coaching sessions. Led by qualified coaches (yep, that's me and the team!), we run live online sessions for hockey, softball, and cricket. Whether you're a complete newbie or a retired pro, come sweat it out with a crew that gets it.

Turn The Boundary Line Into Your Own Team

You've spotted them.. the other women sitting pitchside, looking just as patient as you. Now imagine turning that into something. We'll show you exactly how to approach the women around you and build your very own team or club from scratch, no experience needed. Your cricket widow era just became your team captain era.

A Supportive Space

The Cricket Widow Club

The Cricket Widow Club is a supportive space for women whose lives are shaped by the cricket season.

It’s for the women who love their partners and the game- but sometimes find the constant fixtures, 12 hour days and long seasons harder than they expected.

This isn’t a place to complain or point fingers. Cricket isn’t the problem. And neither is he.

Instead, this is a space to feel understood, to talk honestly about the parts that feel heavy, and to learn how to build a life that still feels full and joyful alongside the game.

Cricket season is better when you don’t do it alone.

We offer the reassurance and understanding you’ve been quietly looking for!

Who Am I And How Do I Know All This?

Founder

The Cricket Widow

Founder & Your New Bestie

If you're reading this page, you probably know me as "The Cricket Widow" (Or the girl who can't finish a single sentence without laughing 😅).

A year ago I was exactly where you are. I remember sitting on my settee, staring at my phone. Or driving around aimlessly, just to fill the time. Not really knowing what to do with myself.

I wasn’t angry. I just felt invisible. Like a background character in my own relationship. 🙃

I tried everything to fix it:

  • Therapy (so expensive!)
  • Hobbies (I couldn’t take any more up if I tried!)
  • Being the "Cool Girl"

Until I realised: the problem wasn’t the cricket- it was that I’d slowly lost space for myself. That lightbulb moment is exactly why this club exists.

Ready to reclaim your Saturdays?

I’m opening exactly 100 free spots this month. Once these are filled, the doors close so we can focus on the women inside.
